The long-running cast-iron Bullet 500 is the traditional Indian-built single, in its old-fashioned form with a four-speed gearbox, kick starting and drum brakes at both ends. It carries over the classic 1950s British layout with a long-stroke 499 cc engine tuned for torque rather than speed.
